It's Giveaway Day!

Welcome to Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day!

Today's giveaway is sponsored by my local quilt shop Tabby Fabric and Studio.

Tabby Fabric and Studio is a fabulous little shop owned by my good friend Rhonda. Rhonda has this awesome style when it comes to quilting and design and has a keen eye for what's hot and trending.

You may have seen her little shop in the newest issues of GenQ  Magazine or maybe the feature on the GenQ website with her pattern. You can check that out right here!

Rhonda also has an etsy store! She's working on getting more listings loaded up every day but there is already some really good stuff in there, please go check it out and show her some love!

Rhonda has so generously donated a Comma charm pack for today's giveaway!

Here's how to enter:

Leave us a comment, but make it a good one! Need some ideas? Tell us about your favorite notion, your favorite upcoming fabric collection, or what you do when you're in a sewing funk and need to snap out of it. Or just tell us a joke!

Optional bonus entries:

1. Become a follower! You can do that by clicking here:

Follow on Bloglovin

You can also follow us via Facebook (button is on the sidebar) or by whatever reader program you use. Just let us know in a second comment that you did it. Current followers get a second entry too of course!

2. Go check out Rhonda's etsy shop and then come back and leave another comment telling us what your favorite item is.

3. Share this giveaway! Blog, Tweet, Instagram, Facebook, Pin this giveaway for an additional entry. Use whatever social media program you want to use to do it. Leave an additional comment for each share.

I'm supposed to close the giveaway Friday night, so you have until then to get your comments in. If a few sneak in before I draw the winner on Saturday that's ok too ;)

Click here to get back to all the great giveaways!

One last thing before you go!

In honor of giveaway day, how about a coupon code?

Use code SMSDAY for 10% off in my pattern shop!

Code expires Friday at midnight Pacific time.

Giveaway is open to all visitors, including the international peeps.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Not a notion, but I just got an Olfa 12" rotating cutting mat, and I am in LOVE with it. I love it. Thank you so much -- I'm crazy about Comma.

My newest favourite is the fork pins from Clover...they are a little bit of magic for getting points that you want to match, to actually match!

I'm looking forward to Simply Basic by V and Co. :) And to get out of a sewing funk, I volunteer as a pattern tester for kids clothes - that usually works for me as then I have a deadline to sew up a project in. Thanks for a chance to win - I love this fabric line! :)

When I am in a sewing funk I sit on the floor and stroke fabrics, and usually start a small hand sewing project so that I can take things slow until the mojo kicks back in. Thanks for the chance to win.

Oh, the pressure! Well, my favorite notion is a pair of ceramic chopsticks that I use to guide fabric, push out tricky corners, scratch my nose, etc. Thank you!

I have a million sewing projects to get to... if only I would get to them. See I like to sew in the evenings and late into the night. But my hubby is on day shift now so I have to sew during the day (not really in the mood) and spend the evenings with him :)

I love buttons, I've never met one I didn't like!

When I'm in a sewing funk I hand piece random blocks. That way I'm still productive and my brain can work away at whatever plan or problem I've got.

Nicole said...

You're in my reader queue.

I don't get a sewing funk - my bigger problem is only having nap time and evenings to sew or do other crafts

I need some commas. you see I just don't understand punctuation any more. I used to remember where to stick a comma or use a semi-colon when a nun was hovering over my desk with a ruler in hand but now I simple don't remember what goes where. I end up throwing - dashes everywhere instead.
I need to piece some commas into my next project ; )
I just signed up to read your blog in my email.

My 5 year old told me this joke: What is brown and sticky? A brown stick! It was so cute!

When I'm in a sewing funk I let myself start cutting fabric for my next project. Something about spending a whole night watching bad movies and just cutting fabric is cathartic, and then the next time I'm ready to sit down and sew, everything is ready for me!

Lens said...

my favourite notion is mi fiskars scissors, and my favourite collection spots by kaffe fassets.
